We like to say that the Borgo is a ‘holiday farm for children’ – because their smiles are our greatest reward!
Scientific research tells us that ‘on the average, six-year-olds laugh 300 times a day; adults only 15 to 100 times’! That’s why children are our favourite guests. We like to say that the Borgo is a children’s holiday farm – and their happy laughter is one of the reasons we do what we do.
Whether it’s the pool, the teaching garden or the Borgo’s broad lawns, our guests’ children will find new places to explore every day. And for children of all ages, we have a football pitch and a volleyball court, a bocce court, ping-pong and table football. And, of course, lots and lots of space for running and playing outdoors!
Our holiday farm is family-operated and we like to think of our guests as members of the family. We love to stop and chat with the youngsters, tell them the stories of our land, and watch them chase butterflies – just as we did with our own children and grandchildren.
